Departmental objective

            The  main aim & objectives of our department  is to  impart knowledge,  skill  and  attitude to the students.

           

Knowledge

1.      Understood basic  techniques of  writing Myanmar.

2.      Realized  basic code  of  conducts, ethics and  social values.

 

Skill

1.      Been able to write Myanmar with  effectiveness, correctness, unity and clarity to a certain extent.

2.      Possessed  basic writing skill in health education literature.

3.      Possessed  basic skill in English to Myanmar translation work.

 

Attitude

1.      Improved in themselves attitudes and ethics acceptable in the Myanmar society.

           

            We teach them - prose & poetry are taught for development of the  studentsʼ  character, manners, for giving them mental courage, for the improvement of their writing skill & make them know Myanmer culture very well.

            Translation is also taught in order to help them do the most appropriate English to Myanmar translation.

            Summary writing prescribed is to help them do short to the point & effective writing.

            Alphabetical order is prescribed to be able to look for the list of  books, the name of books at the library easily, to keep books in order, to use Myanmar dictionaries skillfully and to care for the spelling mistakes.

            Prose-writing is taught to get a thorough  knowledge  about various styles and skills of prose-writing.

            Four ways of essay-writing are taught to be able to write in Myanmar eloquently and in well organized manner.

   ( T P P D ) Programme to have personal development.

Ä   For students, how to maintain Myanmar culture and custom.

Ä   To sit the weekly tutorial, to write the  notes  and abbreviation.

Monthly/ Future Programs

a)                 Theory time table is drawn  monthly for lecture. Lecturers and assistant lecturers are given   

            their  concerning  lecture topics.
b)         Preparations are made for theory  tests  and  examination.
